Who is behind RankWise

A fair question to ask of anyone offering SEO, and one most agency sites answer with a stock photo and the word "passionate."

The short version

RankWise is run by Muhammad Uzair, a digital marketer working with businesses internationally. I focus on technical SEO — the part of search that's measurable and verifiable, rather than the part that relies on you taking my word for it.

I'm early in this career and I'd rather say so than imply a decade of experience I don't have. What that means practically: you get direct access to the person doing the work, transparent reasoning behind every recommendation, and pricing that reflects a solo operation rather than agency overhead.

Why this site exists

I kept running into the same problem. I could talk about technical SEO, and I couldn't prove I'd done it. Every proposal sounds the same when nobody can check the work.

So I built this site from scratch — hand-written HTML, no CMS, no page builder, with no prior web development experience. Every technical decision is deliberate and inspectable: canonical tags, XML sitemap, JSON-LD structured data across every page, HTTP security headers, and Core Web Vitals handled by shipping almost no JavaScript.

Then I audited it, found problems, and wrote up the ones I'd caused myself — 29 canonicals pointing at redirects after a host migration, structured data broken by an unescaped quotation mark, a mobile menu that hid every navigation link. All fixed, all documented.

The point isn't that nothing broke. It's that everything was found, explained, and fixed — which is what an audit actually is. A provider who has never broken anything has probably never looked closely at anything either.

How I work

Plain language, always. If a recommendation can't be explained in terms you can evaluate, it probably isn't a good recommendation. Reports come as prioritised lists with reasoning, not tool exports.

Only methods search engines endorse. No purchased links, no private blog networks, nothing from Google's spam policies. Penalties are far more expensive to recover from than slow progress is to tolerate.

No guaranteed rankings. Nobody can honestly offer that. Google weighs hundreds of factors nobody outside Google controls. What I can guarantee is technically sound work and honest reporting when results are slower than hoped.

Free tools, genuinely free. The three tools here have no sign-up, no email capture, and no upsell. They exist because I needed them.

Background

Currently completing a BBA while working full-time in digital marketing — SEO, paid social, and e-commerce marketing. Before narrowing onto search, I worked across video, Amazon marketplace, and social campaigns, which is useful context for how SEO fits alongside everything else a business is doing.

What I'm still building

Client case studies. I don't have them yet, and inventing them isn't an option. Until then, this site is the case study — its documented build, its audit results, and its ranking progress, all publicly visible.

If that's a reasonable basis to start a conversation, get in touch.
